i liked it a lot. you have progreessed a lot and this song is proof of it. so critique time. there are some pats where the progression wasn't as good as it couldv'e been just a part here and there where adding a small adjustment wouldv'e made all the difference but to a counter to that the rest of the progression was amazing you made an emotion out of your music which is something a lot of people have trouble doing.
great job. don't give up. keep going and keep making music.

Seifire responds:

Thanks decoy, this song took a lot of time and effort and I think I'm fairly happy with the result.

for a dubstep i think it could use stronger dynamics. ya know harder drops softer cleans.the atmosphere was good and the melody was spotless good work.

DJ-Babokon responds:

Thanks but I thought the drop went in pretty hard compared to the breakdowns?

i really like this song. it has a very nice progressive feel but that being said that makes me ask why isn't it longer. you just kinda faded it something tells me you either are not finished or dont want to submit the whole thing. either way i think it should be longer. if this helps you i think you should study daft punk. your style is quite similar to his. not the same but similar

sandordude responds:

It's a demo. I just uploaded it to get some advice. But thanks a lot for the review! When it's finished I'm going to share it on NG!

i think there is a little too much sustain on the reverb on the pianoin the beginning. also this song lacks a strong harmony part especially at parts like :35-1:20.a strong harmony world help a lot. the melody is very nice but it just needs that support

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I think the reverb is fine, but it needs shortened, so yeah the sustain is a little much. and noted, thanks:]

i think you need a new recorder but other then that the song is quite nice

mmFOOD responds:

Yeah I know. Unfortunately I lack quality equipment and I can't afford it either at the moment. :/ Maybe someday I'll be able to record something in an actual studio.

congrats i like it :) it doesnt start to well but once the moving notes at :42 come in its really nice. it was a good choice of instrument and it has some good melody and progression. i also like the break with the cymbal at 2:04 it added a good effect

Seifire responds:

Thanks! I decided to use a cymbal for the break rather than an FX because it seemed to fit the mood a bit more.

i think this song just needs an upgrade. you need more experience with the program i think. i like the concept but i dont feel it was exacuted properly

Jay responds:

I agree, I either need to get better at mixing or find someone to mix for me. Thanks for the review.

:'( i hate doing this
ok so your loop is under a minute long thats not good. if you dont understand why try listening to it for 5 minutes every day for a week. second thing is you shouldnt use the preset fl keys. if you made this with the demo version im sorry but at least add some release and reverb. if you can make that piano beefier. the piano doesnt stand alone well if it doesnt have anything to hold it up(this would be the beef)the composition isnt bad but it needs some work. its a bit bland and doesnt really go anywhere(of course extending the song for about a minute should fix the problem) sorry for the rough review

RubberPanda responds:

i know its bad
i don't even know why i uploaded it

i would like to hear a little more progression but other then that i like how this song makes you feel while listening to it i just feel that with out more progression it will get old to fast

The-Cockenator responds:

Well it isnt supose to be progressive cus it dosent have the right atmo to be progressive unless i use more happy synths but thanks anyways :D

the chorus synth (it could be string but im guessing) should have a softer attack i think. when it hits to had it sounds more fake. on the otherside i love the composition of this piece it is both beautiful and captivating

foxhead128 responds:

Thanks for your feedback. I might submit an update incorporating that suggestion.
