you need to try to add some harmony and dynamics to your music it well help your music a lot

haha well thanks, this is just something to add perscpective and confirm the inexperience, but i've never touched an instrument, studied music, or had anything to do with music creation until I was 20. . . i've only been making music for 2 years, i taught myself how to work everything and i'm still learning. . I know this isn't a typical response to a review, but i'm atypical lol. . .thanks again though

i like the melody in this but it should string together the rest of the song a little better. the connection is a little off

it should really be a bit longer but thats my preference

the drums were a little heavy but the kick was ok

also it sounds like your drums are some sore of preset are they?

if they are try adjusting them a little and add some reverb to make them at least a little different

the drums are part of the basic pack samples with FL Studio, I need to get better ones, but yeah this track needs more attention in general, I tend to get pretty distracted at times lol

the concept and overall flow of this song was nice but i feel it shouldve been more dramatic and try adding some effects and drops

little things like that can really carry a song to the next level

I'll do all of that more in the post production phase, sorry, don't mean to sound like a dick with that, but i'm more trying to get my ideas down then go in and rework what needs to be reworked, this is basically a feedback demo, but I do appreciate your reviews, they are indeed helpful! :D

and then the more important part. i dont know if this is just something you are doing or if this piece is important but i would really love to collab this with you or even just mess with it when its done

ive been kinda at a slump lately and it would really enjoy working on this to get back some creativity if thats ok with you

All of it comes from Konakt - a harp, a clarinet, and a string quartet. I've been using edirol but it doesn't have the small ensemble sort of sound.

I'm trying to find a few good ambient sounds at the moment. I have one using Alieno but it's not in this version (this is an hour's work so far).

I'd love to work with someone personally for once since no collabs really happen around here (I was going to be on the metal one that LaForge is doing but I haven't been in that mood yet).

there were some notes that didnt sound to good together but other then that i wouldnt change a thing about this song

I've been noticing those, too, the more I listen to it. I improvised most of the piano stuff as I went (which was oodles fun!) and I think that paired with like zero music theory understanding lead to some unintentional discordance yonder. I shall try and keep that in check moving forward! o:

ive heard better from you this doesnt have quite the same quality as some of your other songs

it was really pretty though however i just feel the mood couldve been set better
