fast review go!

first at :47 after that climb i think there should be a big hit or crash

second at the end of the first dub break at 1:04 where it says "die" and then what sounds like cps the cps part should have a sudden steep climb and then is you can hold out the s in cps

third at 1:37 make its volume climb slowly but enough to really feel it get loud then at 1:54 keep that drop but at 1:56 make that hit, hit even harder but still back off a little for that synth

fourth at 2:25 do the same thing with the cps sound as i stated earlier and add a hit to the entrance of the end of the song but dont back off a whole lot and let the volume climb but barely it should be like you dont really hear when you casually listen to it but its there when you look for it

i hope this helped im best with dynamics and stuff so its what i tried to focus on
the rest of the song as a whole is really good

whats my time >:)

Solkrieg responds:

Ok, I'll work on all of that. Thanks a ton for the quick review!

Also, he's saying "Die Sapian".

well

i wasnt sure about this song untill the piano came in. everything from the piano till the end was exelent. the beginning however wasnt to great i almost turned it off until the piano came in. it just wasnt captivating try to make your song catch the listener in the beginning especially if its trance or techno other then that good job. it was a very nice quality. the transitions were beautiful. keep it up. if you pratice like crazy and do your best to get noticed the chances of you getting signe are pretty good

omg lol

hey man i always love your music when i first heard your music i thought i favorited you but it turns out i never did lolz

this song is very nice and has a very cinimatic feel the way you used the strings. the song overall is quite relaxing but i feel it could use a better climax something that builds and blows you away yours just kinda softens up and then builds back to where it was.

in all its more of a 9.5 still a good song but not perfect

RetromanOMG responds:

I took your comment into consideration and made some additions to the end. I'm not good at bass drops or anything, so instead I made the drums at the end stronger and rearranged the strings.

I think it sounds better now, maybe. Also, I just noticed someone labeled all of these comments useless. I swear, Newgrounds' comment rating feature is so stupid.

nice

your a little breathy and wether it matters to you or not your voice was very recongnise each time people will be more willing to use your voice acting talent if they know that you have a larger range in voices not just moods sometimes people want specific voices if you can curve your own voice to fit their will you canget more people to want to use you

well

i liked it a lot at first but i didnt like the transfer to dubstep nor did i really like the dubstep itself

it wasent bad just not good enough

DetiousMusic responds:

Do you like dubstep though? d:
I realize that the wobble isn't the best.
It's not easy to create. Haha.
Thanks!

this

is really nice but i think that the bass shouldve came in earlier

i really liked from 1:35 and on it had a good mood in it

The-Cockenator responds:

hehe well the intro had to be long cus im using some strange tecnicue that the begining sucks but the mains song is good so peaple like that part only hehe

hmmm

im not sure with this one
after reading the author comments i think it should be dark yet happy this feels more like you killed the boss but oh look suprise boss that wasent the real boss this
i would have liked to jear the harmony change a little more it is repetitive even though it still fits the rest of the song it would be nice hhearing some moving notes you know like cutting the melody to harmony and harmony to melody for like 3 or 4 measures then cut back just a personal thought is all

Calamaistr responds:

hmm its not happy at all lol dont see where you hear the happy, i kindof made a combination of the previous two bosses (wrierledaq and bostangret's themes) and inserted some effects aswell (done with a hifi square and timed volume incr. but it creates depth and a sense of threat i guess)

About the repetitiveness, i dont often make repetitive music but when i make boss music i tend to end up with it, i think boss music is more about atmospheric haze where levels need the melody. :)

Ahwell, perhaps in a new project ill make more melody heavy music again. :)

thanks for you review(s) -cal.

very nice

i like this a lot

though i dont usually like it when a loop is less then a minute but ill make an exception here
this is a really nice quality the way the hermony works with the meoldy is great
i also like how you got that sub melody back there but it doesent over power the original melody it just kinds sits back and supports it

Calamaistr responds:

If you play games like megaman 1 on the gameboy youll see that it can be even shorter :P
some of those tracks are close to half a minute ;)

Its also in that style when i make 8bit music, im not aiming for long tracks hehe.

thanks -cal.

pm me

if he submits somewhere

Shanyz responds:

of course

change

that first instrument it does not sound good applied the way it was keep the same notes but stop with that synth ok

the rest of the song after getting through that instrument was actually pretty good
do me a favor and pm me if you make any more wips of this or finish it

it sounds like it will be good so keep it up and keep me posted.......pleeeease :3

The-Cockenator responds:

haha i will do that ;) just keep cheking out my stuff :D
