couple things that synth that came in around 1:30 was a little heavy and didn't work too well with the song
another thing i wouldve liked to hear is some dimension and depth with that string harmony

something i always find in your music is that it is wonderfully layered
you have all these melodies and harmonies placed perfectly
it really shows that you know what your doing

i agree the hats are a little strong
the big part i want to talk about is :30 to :40
that whole section doesn't sound like it belongs with the song its like you changed the station

sounds like a rendition of cannon in c honestly still good though
the middle part is different and the overall melody but the chord progression sounds the same still

Isn't it wonderful when music evolve into something new? And no I did not borrow the ideas from Canon by Bach. So who do you think Back borrowed ideas from? Unknown.

Wagner has a similar piece of opera that has similar chord progressions to Canon.

It's really hard to see this piece as a rip off. It's the right chord progression, in C, for joyful piece and such theme like this. It's what I learned in musical lessons.

There is a huge different between learning/borrowing than ripping and worse, stealing ideas.

be careful with those white noise side chains they can often overpower the piece and become a dominate part of the song and that isn't what its meant for
the piano was nice but there could be more depth. you only have the piano melody it needs a harmony or counter melody to let if float and really become a good piece. also try some more intricate note placement not everything has to be on the beat. there are all sorts of melodies that are not on beat.

hey man thanks for that, great feedback. Ive noticed those sweeps are overpowering when I listen on other systems...but ive only got my computer and a stereo system for reference so sometimes i end up giving more high end to the song, or power to effects like those sweeps.

ok so some key things you have picked up on the way 1 it grabbs you before 20 seconds are up which i think is very important. 2 your progression was very nice the transitions flowed very nicely. 3 it was layered with a lot of different synths not just a single melody harmony drum thing there was what 5 synths in there thats good especially how you warped some of the synths.
key things you need to work on 1 after the first grab you need a jump to elevate the song and grab the listener even more this jump is usually about 30 seconds after the first grab. 2 this one is hard so you dont have to but if you can add a sub harmony and elevate it into a counter melody or even into the main melody of course that tactic is fairly advanced im sure you could do it your getting really good.
my opinion personally. i love it but the piano in the beginning needs to be messed with also FINISH THE SONG!! please??

haha, thanks, does it really sound like there are 5 synths? because after the piano part cuts out it's all the same melody layered with 2 synths. I worked hard on that melody, I hope that doesn't destroy the song :(, but I have a couple of different versions in the works trying out different ideas so it may take awhile to finish this one, but I'll try to apply your suggestions, and hopefully the finished project lives up to it's potential . . .as a side note, in my typical fashion it may be unpredictable what I come up with, lol

i think you ended this wrongly. i believe that this piece is not finished. you need to add more action in the middle. make it crazy and add a melody or two. this song just isnt done yet

not enough happens in this song. its too plain and boring. house doesnt have to have to lack the different moving parts that music needs
