im glad to hear a melody in this song. i wasnt going to review this but i decided to anyways. this song is really what house is all about. its calm relaxing uplifting creative and progressive. i feel a great ammount of envy for those with the nice programs and computers and freedom to make music. i dont know if you still act like a dick but this song is a great song reguardless.

i liked the bass line a lot and there was a nice sub melody in there. it sounds like jazz and house had a baby :D. i feel lke more needs to happen. it just sounds plain and rehearsed if you know what i mean. i do like the song i just wish something more would happen.

somethingelse you should do isstudy old classical music a lot of people dont but it will help you. studing modern musicians will help to. the song is kinda dry and is lacking in both harmony and structure. it needs more elements and they need to be able to stand on their own.try working with arpps. sorry if these reviews seem harsh btw im only trying to help you because you seem pretty new to all this and the sooner you start the better if i talk to someone else about music theory they usually call me an idiot and state that nobody cares. unfortunatly for them most people do care if they know it or not

ill do you a favor and tell you what you need to do to get better. go to google and type in the search bar "music theory". then procede to a website and learn a thing or two about music. a large majority of people here dont know much about music. dont believe me then why does the games and movies tab appear before music. im not saying everyone on ng knows nothing but even a lot of the guys who have loads of fans and views on their audio dont know about music theory. if you work hard and learn it it will help you a lot. those who dont use music theory essentially have to learn it themselves through trial and error which can take a very long time. its like building a computer with no previous knowlege or instructions. its hard but can be done after a few yaers of trial and error. the song wasnt bad but it needed depth and a more convincing harmony. some better placed melody notes would help too.

something needs to happen in this song i know its house but its too plain and repetitive

the audio portal can always use more metal and your stuff is pretty good. its very long lol. try to remember when you make music that in order to get a lot of fans you will have to make some shorter songs to get the people with the short attention spans attention.

[Forgetting Who You Are]

some things to consider.
1. trance usually has a more dominant melody but the melody here almost doesnt exist at all.
2. with this kind of composition i would call it house especially with that strong bass line.
3. the quality is nice but i think you should spend more time on your eq.
4. all things being said this piece is actually really good there are just some technical flaws and i would change the genre.
